Giddle&Boyd=Going steady with Peggy Moffitt(2008)
01. Contact (2:21)
02. Sunset Strip SS (1:44)
03. Rocket USA [Suicide cover] (2:48)
04. Bubblegum New Forever (3:00)
05. Going Steady With Peggy Moffitt (1:55)
06. Bonnie & Clyde (4:10)
Boyd Rice is already well known in literary, satanist, and other subversive circles for his authoring "Answer Me!" and his much publicised friendship with the late Anton LaVey author of the "Satanic Bible". Although he has been working in experimental sound as early as 1975 this seems to be his first foray into a more listener friendly fare.Released on pink vinyl shaped like a heart,
the music seems to gravitate mostly around 60's garage, pop, psychedalia, minimal synth, with a rockabilly Hollywood twinge over which he and Giddle Partidge(Herself somewhat of a fixture in the Hollywood experimental scene)cooly croon. A short, sweet, quality E.P.
